Review of the documents and Grant Agreement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">Once all the application documents have been received in the applicant dashboard (Bewerbungsportal), they will be checked and, if necessary, additional questions and requests will be made. Once this process has been completed, the contract, consisting of the Grant Agreement, the Learning Agreement and the Erasmus Student Charter, will be sent to you by e-mail. In this e-mail, you will be asked to print out and sign the Grant Agreement.<strong> Please read the e-mail and the Grant Agreement carefully.<\/strong> You should also print out all other application documents at this point. Send these together with the signed Grant Agreement by post to the address of a.i.m. rlp:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>a.i.m. rlp&nbsp;<\/strong><br>c\/o Hochschule Trier<br>Postfach 1826<br>54208 Trier<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the Grant Agreement and the remaining documents have been received, the portion of the application process prior to the start of the internship is completed and the first instalment will be authorized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group hintergrund-blau\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading aim-section\" id=\"bewerbungsfrist\">Deadline for applications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The complete application documents must be submitted <strong>at least one month prior to the start<\/strong> of the internship. A processing time of approx. four weeks should be taken into account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For internships in partner countries, you should also consider enough time for the visa application (if applicable).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neither the application nor the internship periods are tied to semester periods, i. e. applications for funding can be submitted throughout the year.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading aim-section\" id=\"versicherung\">Compulsory insurances<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Erasmus+ scholarship does not provide an insurance coverage.<\/strong>&nbsp;Neither the EU Commission, the National Agency DAAD nor the Agency for International Higher Education Mobility Rhineland-Palatinate are liable for damage resulting from illness, death, accident, personal injury, loss or damage to property in connection with an Erasmus+ stay abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" translation-block\">The Agency for International Higher Education Mobility Rhineland-Palatinate is obliged to ensure that the recipients of funding have adequate insurance cover. For this reason, it is necessary that you provide information on <strong>health, liability and accident insurance<\/strong> in the application form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants should be in possession of a European health insurance card. This free card gives you access to medically necessary public health services in EU countries as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, under the same conditions and costs as the citizens of the respective country. Further information can be found at&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/social\/main.jsp?catId=559\" target=\"_blank\">ec.europa.eu\/social\/main.jsp<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>For internships\/internship stays, it is compulsory to have both an accident and a liability insurance for possible damages caused by the student at work.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>All participants in the Erasmus+ program (including graduates) have the option of being included in the group insurance of the DAAD, which offers comprehensive insurance cover.<br>For further information, please contact the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.daad.de\/de\/im-ausland-studieren-forschen-lehren\/stipendien-finanzierung\/daad-versicherungen\/versicherung-im-ausland\/\" target=\"_blank\">DAAD Insurance Office.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group hintergrund-blau\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading aim-section\" id=\"Vor-dem-Reiseantritt\">Before setting off<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The DAAD urges travellers to find out about any travel warnings issued by the Federal Foreign Office before setting off <a href=\"https:\/\/www.auswaertiges-amt.de\/de\/ReiseUndSicherheit\/reise-und-sicherheitshinweise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/www.auswaertiges-amt.de\/de\/ReiseUndSicherheit\/reise-und-sicherheitshinweise<\/a>. Furthermore, German citizens should register in the Federal Foreign Office's electronic registration system of Germans abroad (\"Elefand\").
