In fact, this is obvious, because Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean after Sardinia and Sicily, offers the longest summer season in Europe, beaches and clear sea water. Not only the coastal regions, but also the centre of the island with the Troodos Mountains and the 1,952-metre-high Mount Olympus, invite you to hike and discover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cyprus is in a special geographical position. The island forms the intersection of three continents and is both the most eastern and southern Mediterranean island. Cyprus has been de facto divided since 1974.
